And the disbelievers planned, but Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners. [3:54]

Quran 18:10 – Surat al-Kahf

وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ. غافر: 60

{And your Lord said: “Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islâmic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!”} [Ghafir: 60]

Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, [saying], ‘Believe in your Lord,’ and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die with the righteous. - Surat Al Imran, verse 193.

Quran 29:2

أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يُتْرَكُوا أَنْ يَقُولُوا آَمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ

Do men think that on their [mere] saying, “We have attained to faith”, they will be left to themselves, and will not be put to a test?

Quran 42:13; Surat ash-Shura

اللَّهُ يَجْتَبِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ يُنِيبُ

God draws unto Himself everyone who is willing, and guides unto Himself everyone who turns unto Him.

”And Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties]; and mankind was created weak.”

Quran 4:28

Protect Yourselves (Quran 2:281; Surat al-Baqarah )

وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ

And protect yourselves from the Day in which you are returned to Allah.

Quran 9:51 – Surat at-Tawbah | IslamicArtDB

قُلْ لَنْ يُصِيبَنَا إِلَّا مَا كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَنَا

Say, ‘Nothing can befall us, except what God has ordained for us.’

‫ღخَواطِرُ مُسلِمةٍ مُعَاصِرَةღ‬

وَالسَّابِقُونَ السَّابِقُونَ (10) أُولَئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ (11) فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

And the competitors who engage in competition [for being the best believers], those shall be the nearest to God, in the Gardens of Na`eem (Bliss).

Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?

Do they not look at Allah’s creation even among inanimate things, how their very shadows turn around from the right and the left, prostrating themselves to Allah in the humblest manner..

Surah Al-Asr (103)

“By time,

Indeed, mankind is in loss,

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.”

 

So let them laugh a little and [then] weep much as recompense for what they used to earn.
